1. By entering this Food Network Taste Festival BBQ Giveaway Competition (the “Competition”), the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these additional terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.

2. The Competition is open to residents of the UK who have attended the “Taste of London” Taste Festival 2022, excluding employees and contractors of the Promoter (details of which are set out in section 22) and their families, the Promoter's agents or anyone professionally associated with the promotion.

3. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion. No entries from agents, third parties, organized group or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No bulk entries.

4. Entrants must be eighteen (18) years old and above. Proof of identification may be required at the request of the Promoter. Entrants must meet the eligibility requirements as specified herein. Failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in an entry being invalid and/or forfeiture of any prize.

5. Entrants expressly declare and represent that (i) they submit to English law and jurisdiction in participating in this Competition and (ii) they are individuals and not a company or any professional and/or commercial entity.

6. This promotion will open from 17.30pm on 15 June 2022 until 18:00pm on 19 June 2022 with specific entry windows within this period for each festival session, as detailed in section 13 below (the “Competition Period”). For the avoidance of doubt, all times are in BST.

7. By entering, the winners agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as may be reasonably required by the Promoter, subject to prevailing data protection legislation. 

8. Method of Entry: The Competition can be entered by the applicant physically attending the “Taste of London” Taste Festival 2022 and taking a picture of themselves at the photograph stand/ stunt at the Food Network Firepit. The applicant must then post this picture to their Instagram story, tag “@foodnetworkuk”, follow “@foodnetworkUK” and use the “#FoodNetworkCompetition” hashtag (the “Entry”). A valid Entry submission will enter the applicant into a draw to win the Prize in section 12 below. For the avoidance of doubt, the applicant must remain following “@foodnetworkUK” and retain the picture from their Instagram story with the “@foodnetworkuk” tag and “#FoodNetworkCompetition” hashtag at the time of the Prize Draw for their relevant festival session. By submitting an Entry, each entrant warrants and represents that they are the sole creator of the material submitted and that they own all right, title, and interest in and to, or have the valid right to use, all material contained in the Entry. If the Entry contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant, and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the use and exhibition of the materials by Promoter in the manner set forth in these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, name and likeness permissions from any person who appears in or is identifiable in the materials. Failure to provide such proof upon request may render the material unacceptable by Promoter and result in the disqualification of the entrant. All material found to be copied or plagiarised (whether in whole or part), infringing the copyright of a third party, and/or used and submitted by an entrant without the relevant approvals, authorisations or permission shall be disqualified immediately. 

9. All Entries will be moderated to ensure they meet the criteria set; any entry not meeting the minimum criteria may be disqualified or amended in Promoter’s sole discretion. 

10. The Competition is limited to one (1) entry per Instagram account. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the entire Competition that is limited to one (1) entry per Instagram account as opposed to each festival session.

11. Prize(s): each of thirty two (32) entrant(s) will win one goody bag consisting of the bag itself, a “Food Network” branded apron and a barbecue set (RRP = £60 in aggregate for each goody bag) (the “Prize”). The Winner(s) will be chosen as per section 12. 

12. The winners of the Prize(s) shall be selected at random from all valid Competition entries made within their respective festival session (the “Prize Draw”). The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

13. During the “Taste of London” Taste Festival 2022 there will be eight (8) festival sessions split across the Competition Period, with four (4) Prizes to be given out per festival session. There will be a Prize Draw at the end of each festival session’s entry deadline to select the four (4) winners from that particular festival session. For the first festival session, entries must be made on 15 June 2022 between 17:30pm and 22:30pm. For the second festival session, entries must be made on 16 June 2022 between 12:00pm and 17:00pm. For the third festival session, entries must be made on 16 June 2022 between 17:30pm and 22:30pm. For the fourth festival session, entries must be made on 17 June 2022 between 12:00pm and 17:00pm. For the fifth festival session, entries must be made on 17 June 2022 between 17:30pm and 22:30pm. For the sixth festival session, entries must be made on 18 June 2022 between 12:00pm and 17:00pm. For the seventh festival session, entries must be made on 18 June 2022 between 17:30pm and 22:30pm. For the eighth festival session, entries must be made on 19 June 2022 between 12.00pm and 18.00pm. For the avoidance of doubt, all times are in BST. 

14. The Winner(s) will be contacted via Instagram and will be then be required to confirm their name and postal address for delivery of the prize. The Winner(s) must claim their prize within seven (7) days of the notification. If the Prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed Prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

15. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or modify the Competition, modify these terms and conditions prior to the closing date, vary details of the prize, or substitute a prize of equivalent value should unforeseen circumstances require it. 

16. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. The prize is subject to availability. In the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar or alternative prize of equal or greater value. The prize must be taken by the winners unless agreed otherwise in writing by the Promoter.

17. Entries that are incomplete or late or those not in accordance with all the entry instructions are invalid. All submitted entries are the property of the Promoter and will not be returned. 

18. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition. 

19. Personally identifying information and data ("Personal Data") which is provided by Entrants when entering the Competition will be held and used by the Promoter and their service providers, network operators, suppliers and contractors in order to administer and fulfil the Competition and Prize(s) in connection with entry to the Competition. Any Personal Data will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy. For the Promoter’s full privacy policy and how Personal Data will be used, go to The Promoter may be required to send personal data of the Winner(s) (and where applicable, their companion(s)) to third parties, for the purposes of fulfilling and administering the Competition and/or the Prize(s) and the Winner(s) agrees to such transfer for these purposes. The Winner of the competition may be required to participate in publicity. The Promoter (or any third party nominated by the Promoter) may exercise its sole discretion to use the Winner’s(s’)(and if applicable their companion’s) name and image and their comments relating to the prize and competition experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid, subject to relevant data protection legislation.

20. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website, including any injury to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in the Competition. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social network (the “Social Networks”). You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to the Social Networks. The information you provide will only be used as stated in these terms and conditions. By entering the prize draw, entrants will be deemed to have released the Social Networks from any and all liability arising from their participation in the prize draw or out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the prize draw.
