Chug-a-lug kiwi berry cooler

2 kiwis, peeled
100g fresh strawberries
50g blackberries
1L ice
350ml white wine (recommended: Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
100ml orange-flavoured liqueur (recommended: Cointreau)
40ml fresh lemon juice
100ml simple syrup (plus more depending on sugar level of berries)

For the simple syrup

225g sugar
240ml water
1) In a large mixing glass muddle 1 kiwi, 50g of the strawberries and the blackberries. Fill halfway with a mixture of ice, wine, liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup.

2) Shake and pour into 2 nice big wine glasses filled with ice. Garnish with slices of the remaining kiwi and strawberries.

Simple syrup:
1) Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely.

2) Excess siple syrup will keep in the refrigerator for 1 month.
