Corny coleslaw

1/2 head purple cabbage, shredded
1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, peeled, grated
1 onion, chopped
500g tinned sweetcorn, drained
2 tbsps sugar
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp house seasoning, recipe follows
1 lime, juiced
185ml mayonnaise
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
For the house seasoning
200g salt
35g garlic powder
35g black pepper
1) In a medium bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, onions and sweetcorn.
2) In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cumin, house seasoning, lime juice and mayonnaise. Pour over coleslaw mix and gently combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve.
House seasoning:
Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
