Flying Pig Doughnut

4 ring doughnuts
240ml melted butter
120ml milk
120ml cream
2 tablespoons maple syrup
8 rashers bacon
2 tablespoons oil

For the maple syrup glaze combine the melted butter, milk and cream and whisk together. Then add in the maple syrup and mix until you get a thick, yet runny consistency and leave to one side, until needed.

In a pan, heat up the oil and fry the bacon rashes until cooked through and golden brown. Dip the doughnuts in the maple syrup glaze and top with the bacon and drizzle over some more of the glaze.
