- DifficultyEasy
115g dark or milk chocolate, chopped
2 tsp vegetable oil
8 mini bananas, peeled
8 frozen wooden lollipop sticks
70g chopped toasted nuts
1) Set an empty egg carton, upside-down, on a baking sheet. Cut 8 small holes in the top of the rounds to hold the sticks.
2) Put the chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate on HIGH, stirring occasionally, until melted, about 1 to 2 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave. Stir in the oil and cool slightly.
3) Skewer the bananas with a frozen lolly stick. Dip the bananas into the chocolate mixture, then freeze until the chocolate sets slightly, about 2 minutes.
4) Roll the chocolate bananas in the nuts, and freeze until firm, about 4 hours. Serve frozen.
Cook's Note: You can also roll the chocolate coated bananas in other toppings, such as toasted coconut or sprinkles.
