Iced caffe latte

4 shots of espresso (about 45ml each)
380ml whole milk
Cinnamon simple syrup, recipe follows
Crushed ice, for serving

For the Cinnamon Simple Syrup

200g sugar
120ml water
4 cinnamon sticks
Special equipment: 4 small mason jars
Combine the espresso, flavored simple syrup, and milk in a small pitcher. Fill each of the mason jars with crushed ice. Pour the latte mixture over the ice and serve immediately.

For the cinnamon simple syrup:

1) In a saucepan combine water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved.

2) Take the pan off the heat and cool the syrup. Any extra cooled syrup can be saved in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
