Quick fix beer bread

Cooking spray
500g all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
340ml lager beer
2 Tbsp olive oil
1) Preheat the oven to 200C/Gas 6. Coat a 20cm loaf pan with cooking spray.

2) In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Make a well in the centre and pour in the beer and olive oil. Mix until just blended.

3) Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes, until golden brown.
