South Dakota honey sunflower vanilla ice cream

500g sugar
35g , plus 2 tsp plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs, beaten
1.25L whole milk
1L double cream
2 tbsp vanilla extract, preferably bourbon Madagascar
1 25ml honey
75g honey roasted sunflower seeds
1) In a large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients except the sunflower seeds.

2) Transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine. Follow the ice cream machine manufacturer's instructions for making ice cream.

3) When the ice cream has the consistency of pudding and the machine is no longer churning, stir in the sunflower seeds.

4) Freeze the ice cream until hardened, about 4 hours.
