Method

Neelys BBQ seasoning:
Mix together the paprika, white sugar and onion powder. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

Barbecue butter:
Mix Neelys BBQ seasoning into butter. Spread the butter mixture lengthwise across a piece of clingfilm. Roll the butter up tightly into a log and twist the ends. Refrigerate.

Asparagus:
1) Preheat griddle, medium-high heat.

2) Gently toss asparagus in a bowl with seasoning, oil and salt and pepper, to taste.

3) Griddle asparagus until tender, turning once, about 6 minutes.

Serve with the barbecue butter.
