Mini Chipotle Sliders
Use Tabasco® Habanero sauce in place of chipotle if you dare.
Ingredients
Method
Combine the minced beef in a bowl with the finely chopped onions. Add 3 tsp of Tabasco® Chipotle sauce, with salt, pepper and breadcrumbs.
Divide mixture into 8 and shape into burgers.
Grill on a medium heat till cooked through and the juices run clear. Approximately 8 minutes.
Stir through the ingredients of the three separate dips.
Use a small round pastry cutter, to cut the pitta bread into 16 mini slices.
To serve, place a small lettuce leaf on half the pitta bread circles, and add a slice of tomato and the chipotle burger. Top with a thin layer of tomato spiced ketchup and cover with another Pitta Bread circle on top
For a real peppery kick, add Spiced Ketchup:
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp Tabasco® Red Pepper Sauce
For a cool Mexican feel, add some Chipotle Mayo:
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp Tabasco® Chipotle Sauce
Fancy a drop of Jamaican heat? Add some Habanero Mayo:
