Method

1) Heat 250ml of the milk in a medium saucepan over a low heat. Add the chocolate, stirring constantly, until melted.

2) When the chocolate has melted, increase the heat to medium and add the remainder of the milk while whisking rapidly. Do not allow to boil.

3) Add 30ml of peppermint schnapps to each of six mugs. Pour the hot chocolate mixture into the mugs and top with whipped cream (if desired).
