1) Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a high heat, add the chilli flakes and garlic and toast the garlic until golden brown.
2) Add the chard and toss quickly. Stir in a splash of white wine. Cook and toss until the liquid evaporates and the chard is wilted.
3) Add the sugar, season with salt to taste and serve hot.
