After facing two years of uncertainty, the Courageous Cooking school at Julia Child's cottage in France is back in full swing with a group of new students.

Makenna pushes retired nurses, an engineer, a parenting expert and a perfectionist out of their culinary comfort zones to learn recipe-free cooking.

Makenna invites Chris' mother and 94-year-old grandmother to celebrate his 40th birthday and take recipe-free cooking classes with the other students.

Makenna highlights Provence and welcomes students with vastly different skill levels - from a total kitchen novice to a cookbook author.

Makenna and Kendall reinvent a menu created for Julia Child by her business partner. Then, the Level 2 students must make dishes for a special guest.

Makenna teaches guests how to use seasonal ingredients from nearby local farms, while she and her team help a former chef find joy in cooking again.

For the last cooking class of the season, Makenna and Kendall experiment with new classes for a group of entrepreneurs. The guests learn how to hunt for truffles.
