This herby garlic bread is a slice of heaven!

If you want big flavour with little effort, this herb garlic bread recipe from the Barefoot Contessa herself, Ina Garten, delivers every time! A crusty baguette is infused with a punchy mix of chopped garlic, fresh parsley, and basil, all brought together with olive oil, salt, and a crack of black pepper.

Serve alongside classic comfort dishes like spaghetti Bolognese, lasagne, or a rich homemade roasted tomato soup, or use it to mop up sauces from stews and casseroles. And remember, this is the kind of side that disappears quickly, so make sure there’s enough of this incredible herb garlic bread for everyone to come back for seconds!

While a classic French baguette is the go-to, Ina’s herb garlic bread recipe works equally well with ciabatta, sourdough, or even a rustic farmhouse loaf. However you slice it, this recipe for herb garlic bread is a simple way to add a crunchy bite of garlicky deliciousness to any meal.
